BOI zones need to remain operational– BOI Chairman

The Chairman of BOI San-
jaya Mohottala stressed the
need of continuing the manu-
facturing process as a nation-
al responsibility, despite the
current COVID 19 pandemic
situation in the country.
The Board of Investment
(BOI) of Sri Lanka wishes to
bring to your notice that it
will facilitate enterprises
within and outside the BOI
zones to operate without any
interruption.
He said in a press release
that the Board of Investment
of Sri Lanka will continue
providing necessary guid-
ance and facilities to these
enterprises under the BOI
fold.

the required instructions can
be obtained through: www.
investsrilanka.com and email
info@boi.lk.
BOI enterprises are encour-
aged to continue operations
while strictly adhering to the
guidelines issued by the Min-
istry of Health. The country-
wide travel restrictions will
not cause any inconvenience
to the cargo movements and
logistic facilities.
Exports of the companies
will continue unabated
amidst travel restrictions. All
the services provided by the
BOI will be available without
interruption through online
platforms and at service loca-
tions.
