Seneca became the second vaccine for those who received the first vaccine Modana, the Fischer vaccine

Minister of State for Drug Regulation Prof. Channa Jayasumana said the National Advisory Council on Infectious Diseases had approved the Modana and Pfizer vaccines as the second vaccine for those who received the first vaccine at the Oxford Estra Seneca.

Thus, within the first week of next month, 10 lakh Modana vaccines and 20 thousand Pfizer vaccines will be available in Sri Lanka.

The government plans to vaccinate 130 lakh people in the country’s total population by September. The government has also taken steps to import the required 210 lakh vaccines.(GOV)
