A new set of revised health guidelines on COVID-19 is set to be issued by the Director-General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardena.
Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said the health guidelines will consist of several revised regulations, including the lifting of a number of restrictions.
He said the revised guidelines will consist of new regulations such as allowing a limited number of people to attend weddings, which has been banned under the existing guidelines.
General Shavendra Silva further said the revised guidelines will also permit the reopening of places of worship, with a limited crowd, under strict adherence to the health guidelines. (NewsWire)
