Massive vehicle procession begins in Colombo over TU members’ arrest
A procession organized by several trade unions against the move to quarantine people participating in protests has commenced in Colombo.
Several trade unions, including the Ceylon Teachers Union, are participating in the procession.
The protest march, which includes a vehicle procession, commenced near the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre and is currently headed towards the Lipton Roundabout. (NewsWire)
